EyeCreate LLC is committed to making EyeCreate usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion.
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. We are not claiming a completed third-party audit; this is our own ongoing work, and we publish it honestly.
Features supported today
- Reduced-motion mode that respects your system setting and can be toggled in the app.
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus rings across interactive controls.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled controls for screen readers.
- Read-along modes for stories, including one-word-at-a-time Living Word mode for emerging readers.
- Narration and text-to-speech for lessons and stories.
- Adjustable text size and high-contrast surfaces.
- Alternative text on meaningful images.
- No content that flashes rapidly.
Where we know we still have work
- Some highly animated world scenes are still being reviewed for screen-reader clarity.
- A few decorative visual effects need better non-visual equivalents.
- We are expanding narration coverage across newer worlds.
